The Tone:
This is a full-time, three-year rotational development program at Owens Corning, requiring relocation to various plant locations across the United States. Owens Corning is a branded building products leader specializing in roofing, insulation, and doors for residential markets in North America and Europe. This program is designed to cultivate future manufacturing HR leaders by providing deep, hands-on experiences and expanding their impact within the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Foundational Development: Develop core HR and manufacturing capabilities through hands-on experience in areas like employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance.
• Strategic Partnership: Build strategic HR business partner capabilities through experiences in workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and business strategy.
• Professional Growth: Partner with senior HR leaders and experienced professionals who will provide mentorship and coaching for your development.
• Personalized Planning: Create personalized development plans aligned with specific rotational objectives and program goals.
• Network Building: Participate in formal learning, networking, and leadership development experiences to build a strong professional network across Owens Corning.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required, ideally in a business-related field, for this entry-level leadership program.
• Experience: Previous HR internship experience and/or transferable HR-related skills are necessary; candidates from other functions interested in transitioning into HR are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong leadership potential, conflict resolution and relationship building skills, strategic thinking and data-driven decision making capability, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Bonus: A passion for Human Resources, a strong interest in manufacturing environments, and business-related majors such as Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration are preferred.
