The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career leadership development program at Castleton Commodities International, located in Stamford, Connecticut, and Houston, Texas. Castleton Commodities International is a leading global energy commodities merchant and infrastructure asset investor. Headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, CCI conducts business from offices located around the world, including Calgary, Houston, New York, Geneva, London, and Singapore, and has more than 500 employees globally. CCI deploys capital on a proprietary basis in physical and financial commodity markets, leveraging market insights and access. This program is designed to identify and cultivate the next generation of leaders for the company’s Operations, Finance, and commercial businesses, providing comprehensive exposure and development opportunities within global markets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotations: Engage in four distinct six-month rotations, gaining comprehensive exposure to a variety of support functions including settlements, trading operations, treasury, credit, tax, enterprise improvement, and product control.
• Leadership Interaction: Have regular interaction with the leaders of Operations, Finance groups, and commercial businesses to understand their approach to global market opportunities.
• Strategic Projects: Work on specialized projects focused on strategic initiatives and organizational strategy, contributing to key company objectives.
• Commercial Exposure: Gain exposure to the commercial side of the business in addition to the core functions of each rotation, broadening industry understanding.
• Professional Development: Participate in structured training to acquire a well-rounded understanding of the industry, alongside leadership and technical skills.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date of Spring 2026 or December 2026, in fields such as Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or Physics.
• Experience: Demonstrated excellent analytical and technical skills, particularly in Excel, alongside strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Skills: Possess superior communication skills, both verbal and written, an ability to multitask effectively, and a desire to make a difference by being forward-thinking and an effective team player.
• Bonus: Prior internship or exposure within the commodities markets, other financial institutions, or consulting is preferred; experience with VBA and database management is a plus.
