• Mission: This person helps the finance department manage financial data, support reporting, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives across various functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts, including performing variance analysis by comparing actual versus budgeted numbers.
• Financial Record Management: Assist with account reconciliation for bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries, identifying and reporting discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, supporting the team in ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Transaction Processing: Assist with reviewing and processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports, ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Financial Research & Projects: Conduct basic financial research on market trends, competitors, or investment opportunities, and assist with special projects such as cost-saving initiatives or financial modeling.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required, but proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access applications is essential.
• Skills: Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with clear and concise verbal and written communication abilities.
