What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Support preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports.
• Improvements: Assist with project-based work focused on process improvements, data cleanup, and reporting enhancements.
• Data Validation: Compile, review, and validate financial data for accuracy.
• Dashboarding: Build and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards.
• Collaboration: Partner with accounting team members on ad hoc analysis and special projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Relevant coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; academic projects involving financial analysis, reporting, or data interpretation; basic experience using Microsoft Excel including formulas, sorting/filtering, and pivot tables; exposure to financial statements through coursework or class assignments; and experience working on team projects and meeting deadlines.
• Skills: Strong Excel skills including basic data analysis; detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; and strong communication skills with a willingness to learn.
