What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns for clients.
• Client Accounting: Assist small businesses with a range of bookkeeping and accounting services.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and accurately post adjusting journal entries.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and various balance sheet accounts.
• Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients to answer questions and gather necessary information.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or expected completion soon), demonstrating foundational knowledge in accounting principles.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional accounting experience, with public accounting experience preferred.
• Skills: Working knowledge of QuickBooks, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong organizational capabilities, and effective communication skills.
• Bonus: CPA eligibility or active pursuit of CPA licensure is a plus, though not required for this role.
