What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Prepare tax returns and financial statements, handle bookkeeping, and process payroll tax filings.
• Develop: Grow your technical and problem-solving skills through hands-on client work.
• Engage: Build relationships with clients and teammates, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the firm.
• Support: Support partners and managers in delivering great service, including working directly with clients.
• Analyze: Apply critical thinking and research skills to reach conclusions and make recommendations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum Associate degree required; focus on accounting or related financial fields.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required, though candidates should be prepared for hands-on client work.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills and sound judgment; Solid written and verbal communication, documentation and interpersonal skills; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work both independently AND as part of a team.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree or higher; Experience with UltraTax, GoFileRoom, Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks.
