The Tone:

This role is crucial for helping clients navigate complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring, maximizing value in their business deals, and offering strategic guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting issues. What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Assist teams in the execution of capital markets transactions and advisory services.
• Prepare: Participate in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Apply: Help with the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in financial reporting for client engagements.
• Coordinate: Engage in project management tasks to streamline workflow and meet project goals.
• Analyze: Utilize Alteryx for automation and data analysis to enhance financial insights.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment before starting full-time at PwC.
• Skills: Application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); project management and coordination; data automation and analysis; strong communication and active listening; a learning mindset with ownership for personal development.
• Bonus: Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA; demonstrated knowledge in Capital Markets Transactions; experience with organization restructuring initiatives or transaction advisory services activities; leveraging AI to create efficiencies and innovate ways of working.
