CRM Product & Operations Manager | Meltwater

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Meltwater, located in Redwood City, CA. Meltwater builds best-in-class technology that empowers 27,000 customers around the world to make better business decisions through data. This role is critical for owning the strategy, delivery, and day-to-day health of the company’s Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ ecosystem, partnering across various global business and technology teams to provide scalable solutions. What You’ll Actually Do
• Roadmapping: Own and evolve the CRM product roadmap for Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ, balancing priorities, enhancements, dependencies, and stability.
• Team Leadership: Own hiring, performance management, and day-to-day people leadership for the CRM team, leading and developing 1-4 CRM analysts/administrators.
• Lifecycle Management: Lead CRM initiatives through the full product lifecycle: discovery, requirements definition, development, testing, release, adoption, and post-production evaluation.
• Operations & Support: Lead day-to-day Salesforce/CPQ operations, production support, and system administration, including complex incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Process Improvement: Improve CRM adoption, usability, and data quality by identifying friction points, simplifying business processes, and managing Jira workflows.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 15+ years of overall IT experience, with relevant experience in technology, software engineering, and enterprise applications. 6+ years of experience in CRM product management, business systems analysis, or Salesforce administration, including 2+ years supporting Salesforce CPQ.
• Skills: Salesforce Administrator certification required, proven experience owning a product backlog and leading Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, backlog grooming), hands-on experience with Jira for workflow, release, and defect management, strong stakeholder management skills.
• Bonus: Advanced Administrator or CPQ Specialist certification, familiarity with connected enterprise systems (NetSuite, Boomi, AWS, Snowflake, Tableau) and cross-system troubleshooting, experience supporting global, multi-region teams (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
