The Tone:
This is a hybrid Project and Program Management Specialist role at General Motors, located in São Caetano do Sul, Brazil, requiring a presence in the office three times a week. • Mission: Own program documentation and coordination to enable data-driven leadership decisions for product content and business strategies, addressing unique execution and business opportunities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Coordination: Coordinate the Program Execution Team (PET) agenda, skillfully facilitate meetings, and meticulously document all critical decisions made.
• Change Management: Lead the Change Request/Decision Notice (CR/DN) process from inception, including organizing and facilitating screening team meetings to ensure thorough evaluation.
• Strategic Support: Assist in the development of compelling business cases for proposed program content changes and prepare comprehensive presentations, including gate reviews, for senior leadership.
• Content Management: Manage Product Program Content (PPC), Model Option Rate (MOR), and maintain the integrity of the Program Notebook, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
• Program Oversight: Monitor overall Program Readiness in collaboration with the Vehicle Planning Coordinator and function in an advisory capacity to other teams, ensuring both internal and external customer voices are clearly understood by the Product Execution Teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a directly related field, providing a foundational understanding for program management.
• Experience: Possesses demonstrated experience in product and/or program management, including successfully coordinating complex cross-functional activities. Proven ability to lead approval processes, diligently follow up on critical decisions, and effectively monitor industry trends and market developments. Availability to travel is also required.
• Skills: Exhibits strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with multicultural stakeholders. Demonstrates robust negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving abilities. Holds a strong sense of accountability and ownership for program outcomes, coupled with the agility to balance planned activities with emerging demands. Advanced or fluent English proficiency is essential for this role.
• Bonus: A Master’s degree in a related field, intermediate Spanish proficiency, or prior experience within the food and/or manufacturing industries would be highly desirable.
