Corporate Accounting Intern | Porsche Cars North America
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Porsche Cars North America, located in Atlanta, Georgia. Porsche is a globally renowned luxury automotive brand, celebrated for its high-performance sports cars and commitment to engineering excellence. This role is crucial for supporting the core financial operations of Porsche’s North American entities, providing essential assistance to the Corporate Accounting Department. The intern’s contributions will directly impact the accuracy of financial records, audit readiness, and internal stakeholder support, underpinning the company’s fiscal integrity.

• Pay: $18–$20 hourly
• Team: Corporate Accounting Department, working closely with the vehicle accountant and reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, Senior Accountants, and Director, Corporate Accounting & Controlling.
• Mission: To support the Corporate Accounting Department in maintaining accurate financial records and facilitating key financial processes for Porsche Cars North America, Porsche Logistics Services, and Porsche Cars Canada.
• Tech Stack: SAP, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Account Reconciliation: Complete account reconciliations for Porsche Cars North America, Porsche Logistics Services, and Porsche Cars Canada to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of critical quarterly and year-end financial statements, contributing to essential regulatory and internal reporting processes.
• Audit Preparation: Assist with the meticulous preparation of necessary documentation and analyses, ensuring readiness for internal and external audit procedures.
• Title Processing: Process and prepare daily Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO) titles for dealerships, a vital step in the vehicle sales and distribution process.
• Stakeholder Support: Provide valuable accounting assistance to internal departments, including Sales Operations and Customer Relations, to address their financial inquiries and needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Applicants must be at least a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, indicating a foundational understanding of key business principles.
• Experience: Successful completion of at least two (2) Accounting courses is required, demonstrating core accounting knowledge essential for this role.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills are necessary for managing multiple tasks and deadlines, coupled with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial work. The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management is also vital, alongside proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
• Bonus: Prior experience with SAP, a widely used enterprise resource planning software, is considered a significant advantage.
