Finance Leadership Development Program Intern | Siemens Healthineers

This is a full-time internship at Siemens Healthineers, located remotely with ties to Malvern, PA. • Mission: Prepare future financial leaders to analyze and manage the company’s financial aspects across diverse business segments.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting: Assist in the creation of business segment budgets, control policies, and procedures, coordinating implementation with other Siemens organizations.
• Financial Analysis: Collect and analyze information relevant to routine situations, make risk assessments, and identify various options or alternatives.
• Reporting: Perform monthly financial reporting analysis, consolidate financial activities such as forecasting and budgeting, and participate in special projects.
• Accounting: Learn and apply corporate accounting policies and concepts, research IFRS guidelines, reconcile major trial balance accounts, and perform monthly closing activities.
• Cost Control: Learn cost, inventory, and project costing, perform closure of work orders, manage inventory tracking and reporting, and prepare journal entries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level undergraduate pursuing a BS/BA from an accredited institution. Majors include Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Management with an Accounting or Finance concentration.
• Experience: Ability to work 40 hours per week from May to August with permanent U.S. work authorization. Must be willing to relocate and travel as required by the program or work in a fully virtual format.
• Skills: Minimum 3.0 GPA, foundational understanding of financial analysis, corporate accounting principles (including IFRS), budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
