What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Payable Processing: Review employee expense reimbursements and vendor invoices for proper general ledger and project ledger coding.
• Payment Execution: Assist with preparing weekly payment files for both employee expense reimbursements and vendor payments.
• Financial Closing Support: Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the monthly financial close process.
• Asset and Depreciation Management: Maintain fixed assets module records and associated depreciation schedules.
• Audit and Analysis Assistance: Compile supporting schedules for annual audits and fulfill ad hoc analysis requests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Understanding of general accounting principles.
• Experience: 0-2 years of accounting experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to handle confidential information with integrity, effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong mathematical abilities, and an analytical mindset.
• Bonus: Prior internships or experience specifically in accounts payable (AP) or general ledger (GL) functions.
