Principal – Application Customization (Onestream Architect/ Developer) | NielsenIQ

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at NielsenIQ, located in Pune, Maharashtra, India, serving as a key technical contributor within our OneStream application team. NielsenIQ relies on the OneStream platform for critical financial close, account reconciliation, planning, and forecasting processes. This position is vital for shaping evolving business structures and processes, offering high visibility across future development phases and potential leadership growth. The role requires strong communication to identify improvement opportunities and deliver effective solutions through the OneStream platform.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design & Development: Design and build new OneStream applications and maintain business rules to meet stakeholder needs.
• Platform Management: Manage all areas of the OneStream platform, including hierarchies, workflows, dashboards, reporting views, packages, and security.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain various reporting solutions, such as OneStream XF Cube Views and Excel Add-in, for accounting and finance teams.
• Data Integration & Quality: Manage data integrations, validations, mappings, and transformations, from source systems like SAP and Workday into OneStream XF.
• Support & Governance: Provide administrative support for financial close, account reconciliation, planning, and forecasting, ensuring internal control governance, SOX compliance, and troubleshooting technical and user issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with a strong background in accounting and finance, plus an understanding of OneStream financial accounting processes.
• Experience: 10-12 years in financial system administration/implementation, including 5+ years directly with OneStream, particularly in a large, complex multi-national consolidation environment.
• Skills: Strong VB.Net skills, ability to create and support OneStream Business Rules, excellent communication (oral and written), strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making abilities, and an understanding of Audit/SOX requirements.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Rest API, SAP, and/or Workday integration.
