What You’ll Actually Do
• Build relationships: Develop connections with clients and firm employees.
• Support accounting: Assist clients with routine accounting functions.
• Prepare statements: Draft financial statements following prescribed formatting.
• Engage in audits: Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements.
• Apply technology: Develop a working knowledge of routinely used microcomputer applications.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level internship requiring a bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least 75% completed from an accredited university, and demonstrated progress towards CPA exam eligibility.
• Experience: Ability to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week for 12 weeks, from early January through mid-April. Willingness to travel locally to clients 80%+ of the time, with access to a car or public transportation.
• Skills: Good communication and computer skills, capability to work effectively as a team player, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
