2027 Information Technology Development Program (Starts June 2027) | Wesco

The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career rotational program at Wesco, located in Pittsburgh, PA or Glenview, IL. Wesco builds, connects, powers, and protects the world as a leading provider of business-to-business distribution, logistics services, and supply chain solutions. This 24-month program is designed to develop future technology leaders by immersing associates in project-based initiatives across various IT domains. The role is critical for preparing participants for a technology-based role once the program concludes.

• Mission: To prepare participants for a technology-based role upon program completion through hands-on experience and leadership engagement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage with senior leaders and acquire valuable industry knowledge within the 24-month development program.
• Work directly under the supervision of IT leaders and collaborate with peer mentors on various assignments.
• Participate in project-based initiatives and operations assignments across diverse IT areas.
• Complete rotations in domains such as Enterprise Agile Deployment, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and DevSecOps.
• Gain experience in supply chain technologies including Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Omnichannel solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field such as Information Technology or Information.
• Experience: Prior internship in a business-related field; ability to travel 0% – 25%.
• Skills: Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA, superior technical skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), entrepreneurial spirit, effective collaboration using Microsoft Teams, high level of attention to detail, ability to multi-task, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
