Rotational Engineer | Ebara Elliott Energy

The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career role at Ebara Elliott Energy, primarily located in Jeannette, PA, with a required field rotation in locations like Houston, TX, or other global operations. This role is crucial for introducing new engineering talent into the company through a comprehensive two-year development program, designed to provide a deep understanding of the organization, its products, and engineering processes.

• Mission: To provide new engineering graduates with a comprehensive onboarding and training experience in the rotating equipment industry and its various engineering processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Complete three approximately seven-month rotational assignments across key business units, covering engineering career paths such as projects, applications, manufacturing operations, process innovation, and technical/field service.
• Perform entry-level engineering assignments that require applying engineering theory, standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to varied projects.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Ebara Elliott Energy’s organization, product lines, and various engineering processes, from application to design, manufacturing, and aftermarket service.
• Develop professional work knowledge and practical experience within the rotating equipment industry through hands-on involvement in diverse engineering assignments.
• Engage with a dedicated Buddy, an engineer who previously completed the Rotational Engineering Program, who provides guidance and support throughout the rotational experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a four-year engineering degree from an accredited institution, on track to obtain between Spring 2026 and Spring 2027. Preferred fields include mechanical engineering, with chemical, aerospace, industrial, or electrical engineering also considered.
• Experience: Entry-level professional with demonstrated success across academic study in engineering disciplines.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude; excellent computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications; outstanding verbal and written communication skills; good basic work habits, promptness, and dependability; ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic work environment; time management skills; safety-minded and process improvement focused; self-directed worker with good work ethic; professional and business-like behavior with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Bonus: Willingness to travel as needed and spend up to seven months on field and service shop assignments. Relocation assistance is available.
