• Team: Customer Data Operations, part of ING’s Data Operations function within the COO domain.
• Mission: Support the maintenance and governance of core banking data that powers ING’s financial markets and client operations.
• Tech Stack: Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Calypso, Murex, Sophis, Summit, OMGEO, Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, VBA, Microsoft Office applications (Excel).

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Support client onboarding, offboarding, and customer data maintenance across multiple platforms.
• Transaction Configuration: Configure and maintain settlement instructions for cash and securities transactions.
• Reference Data Setup: Set up and maintain traded instruments and product reference data, including FX rates, market indices, calendars, and account configurations.
• Operational Monitoring: Perform pricing maintenance, sanctions monitoring, and exception management activities.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to data quality, governance, and process improvement initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders across Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; basic understanding of financial markets and banking operations.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience within banking, financial services, or capital markets.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment; comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams; adaptability and willingness to work in an agile environment.
• Bonus: Knowledge of trade lifecycle, client lifecycle, or data operations processes; exposure to securities, foreign exchange, money markets, derivatives, or collateral management; experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Calypso, Murex, Sophis, Summit, or OMGEO; knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, VBA, or similar automation tools; Lean Six Sigma certification; CISI certification.
