The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, located in downtown Saint Louis. What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Support: Aid multiple talent management programs like Career Development Academy and Leadership Development, including vendor management and other ad hoc HR needs.
• Financial & Audit Assistance: Engage in hands-on month-end tasks, budgeting, forecasting support, and assist auditors by interviewing clients, reviewing support, and documenting workpapers.
• Technology & Data Projects: Support customer relationship management application profiles, generate metadata tracking ideas, create enhanced reporting, and contribute to business analysis for cloud migration, risk management, and data visualization.
• Operational Enhancements: Help the Facilities team with vendor support and management, process enhancements for onboarding/offboarding, data reporting, budget management, and workforce planning across the division.
• Process Improvement: Create PowerBI dashboards, automate workflows, and incorporate new tools to help establish more efficient processes across departments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently a student. Interest in business, accounting, finance, economics, human resources, or information systems is highly desired.
• Experience: No specific years required. Hands-on work around month-end, budgeting, forecasting, or analytical projects is preferred. Exposure to client interviewing or reviewing support is a plus.
• Skills: Analytical skills, proficiency with Excel. Familiarity with or interest in Power BI, Tableau, PowerAutomate, or Visio.
• Bonus: Submission of a cover letter detailing specific areas of interest (HR, Financial Management, Audit, TRSO, ISPS, Bank Examiner, Business Analyst) and relevant experiences. Regional travel may be possible for the Bank Examiner role.
