What You’ll Actually Do
• Assurance: Provide various assurance and consulting services to the Illinois Department of Transportation as a trusted engagement team member.
• Client Engagement: Proactively engage with the client throughout the year to gather needed information, respond to questions, and follow up for Single Audit testing.
• Testing & Analysis: Perform substantive testing, identify deficiencies of internal controls, and discuss recommendations for improvement.
• Compliance Review: Review and analyze various costs associated with billing to ensure compliance with rules and regulations, investigating discrepancies.
• Professional Development: Learn and grow through direct on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and participation in firm-wide learning and development programs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: 4-year degree. Early-Level career experience.
• Experience: 1 year professional experience.
• Skills: Communication, relationship building, personal development, collaboration, problem solving, initiative, adaptability, Microsoft Suite skills.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related. Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
