This is an internship position at Plante Moran, located across multiple regions including Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts, with potential for local, national, and occasional international travel. What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in different phases of audit and/or tax engagements for clients.
• Execute: Perform planning, testing, researching, and reporting tasks as part of client engagements.
• Handle: Work with compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements, and benefit plans.
• Address: Engage with corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes.
• Interact: Have meaningful interactions with staff at all levels and with diverse clients, gaining exposure to business opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax. This is an entry-level role.
• Experience: Demonstrated academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Must be on track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CPA license.
• Skills: Possess detail-oriented leadership, problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and analytical capabilities.
