The Tone:
This is an on-site summer internship at Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, located in Los Angeles, CA. The company is the world’s largest vertically integrated pistachio and almond processor, located in California’s Central Valley, committed to sustainably harvesting and providing high-quality, Non-GMO Project Verified nuts globally. This role offers hands-on experience, allowing the intern to contribute to key process improvement projects within the finance department. The position provides an opportunity to gain practical skills in financial reporting, analysis, and data management within a leading agricultural food company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting Support: Assist with monthly financial reporting, including compiling data, validating results, and preparing variance analysis reports.
• Performance Analysis: Support the analysis of financial and operational performance trends to help identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.
• Dashboard Development: Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards to improve visibility of key business metrics and reporting efficiency.
• Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets using Excel to support business insights and decision-making.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to support finance leadership and cross-functional teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be a Wonderful Scholar enrolled in the College Success program and at least 18 years of age. This is an entry-level position focused on finance.
• Experience: Experience with Power BI or Tableau; proficient in Excel.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; effective communication and ability to present findings clearly; ability to work in an office environment collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders; eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
