Sr Functional Consultant – HCM & Compensation, Workday Success Plans | Workday

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Workday, located in Warsaw, Poland. Workday builds an AI platform for managing people, money, and agents, bringing finance, HR, and planning into a single enterprise cloud. This role is crucial for helping customers in their post Go-Live journey, ensuring they derive business value from their Workday applications by solving their business needs through targeted microconsulting engagements. It focuses on supporting customers by providing expertise and guidance on Workday solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Consulting: Deliver small scope consulting to customers by providing configuration guidance, demonstrations, and considerations.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve or optimize product configuration to meet customer business requirements through troubleshooting.
• Presentations: Create and deliver customer presentations on utilizing Workday features to achieve business goals.
• Guidance: Provide one-on-one consulting guidance to accelerate customer feature adoption.
• Reviews: Review customer tenants to identify feature adoption opportunities and potential optimizations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience, with core domain knowledge in HCM & Compensation.
• Experience: 5 years of IT implementation experience, 5 years of experience with Compensation or Benefits systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, and/or JD Edwards), and 3+ years of software consulting experience.
• Skills: Workday Certification (or ability to certify) in HCM, Compensation, or Advanced Compensation, ability to gain a thorough understanding of new Workday concepts, and strong critical thinking skills.
• Bonus: Ability to distill complex concepts into understandable presentations for customers, ability to multitask across multiple engagements, and familiarity with the Workday roadmap.
