Manufacturing Leadership Rotational Program (GELP) | WuXi Biologics
The Tone:
This is a full-time rotational leadership development program with WuXi Biologics, primarily based in Cranbury, NJ, with required global rotations. WuXi Biologics focuses on biologics production operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing processes from clinical through commercial stages. This program is designed to cultivate future business and technical leaders, preparing them to lead these critical biologics manufacturing operations.

• Mission: To cultivate future business and technical leaders prepared to lead biologics production operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing processes.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Operations: Contribute to upstream, downstream, and drug product biologics manufacturing operations.
• Monitor Performance: Track and analyze production performance, yield, and quality metrics to ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead Investigations: Conduct deviation investigations and implement corrective actions (CAPA) to resolve production issues.
• Drive Improvement: Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Engage in Development: Participate in leadership development and mentorship programs while becoming a subject matter expert on GMP manufacturing quality compliance.
• Lead Projects: Drive strategic projects, analyze relevant data, and present informed recommendations to leadership.
The Must-Haves
• Background: M.Sc. to Ph.D in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field. Career level: Entry-Level.
• Experience: 0-2 years of work experience.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, technical aptitude, effective teamwork, clear communication skills, and an operational mindset with attention to detail.
• Bonus: A B.Eng. degree, knowledge of GMP manufacturing environments, a demonstrated interest in biopharma and large-scale biologics manufacturing, and a willingness to travel for global rotations.
