Revenue Accounting Processor | Stewart Title

• Mission: Owns the collection, analysis, monitoring, and reporting of the organization’s financial matters, ensuring compliance and accurate revenue accounting processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Payment Processing: Post payments, manage adjustments to ensure efficiency, time, and accuracy for control and accountability in revenue accounting.
• Customer Communication: Contact delinquent customers via phone to secure payments and review account histories to resolve inquiries.
• Financial Reconciliation: Perform monthly account reconciliations and complete journal entries for general ledger accounts related to the revenue accounting process.
• Departmental Support: Provide a wide range of support functions to assist in overall departmental accounting processes.
• Procedure Adherence: Follow clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities, solving straightforward problems without consistent discretion.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A high school diploma is required. Core domain knowledge includes general accounting, accounts payable, expense reimbursement, and revenue accounting (accounts receivable).
• Experience: Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Skills: Financial data collection and analysis, account reconciliation, basic internal and/or external communication, and adherence to financial policies and professional standards.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
