The Tone:

The firm is a fully integrated professional services organization, providing an extensive range of accounting, assurance, tax compliance, consulting, and advisory services. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate tax compliance and directly supports clients by preparing various business and individual tax returns and conducting essential tax research.

• Mission: Prepares various business and individual tax returns and performs light tax research to support client compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Work on various tax preparation projects under the direct supervision of a superior.
• Prepare: Prepare a variety of business and personal income tax returns, including those related to financial statements.
• Research: Perform light research projects in the area of taxation, covering topics such as payroll and sales tax.
• Communicate: Communicate with clients to gather necessary information or clarify tax-related issues.
• Develop: Actively pursue CPA certification as part of professional growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant field required; Entry-Level career experience.
• Experience: Ability to work overtime periodically throughout the year, primarily between mid-January and mid-April.
• Skills: Proficient in using computers and basic software applications; Possess above-average written and verbal communication skills; Capable of performing under time pressure and meeting deadlines.
