• Mission: This role is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of federal and state tax returns for diverse clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Prepare federal and state tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections for diverse clients, including C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and Individuals.
• Client Support: Organize client tax information and provide assistance with responding to tax notices and examinations.
• Audit & Research: Support tax audits, conduct light research projects, and monitor and review financial information.
• Internal Communication: Communicate work status and client issues to Senior and/or Manager team members.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other tax professionals to share knowledge and ensure the delivery of high-quality, professional work.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; Entry-Level career experience; general knowledge of federal and state tax laws, including corporate, individual, trust, gift, and partnership taxation.
• Experience: Entry-level professional experience; ability to apply basic accounting principles to engagements; CPA eligibility preferred.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical and organizational skills; project management capabilities; ability to multi-task effectively.
• Bonus: Master’s in taxation; familiarity with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, XCM, and Caseware.
