What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Manage day-to-day investment ledger operations, including data entry, general ledger maintenance, and entity setup.
• Close Activities: Support monthly and quarterly close activities such as preparing GL feeds, performing system loads, and completing trial balance re-runs.
• Reconciliations: Prepare and maintain cash reconciliations and associated workpapers, ensuring accurate tie-outs between systems.
• Audit Support: Assist with preparing audit PBC schedules for assigned entities and respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors.
• Data Validation: Perform investment-level data validation, reviewing income, realized gains/losses, and holdings to ensure reporting accuracy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience: 0-2 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Working knowledge of GAAP, strong organizational and analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel required).
• Bonus: CPA candidate or willingness to pursue CPA designation, experience in investment or corporate accounting, familiarity with ERP systems (PeopleSoft and PAM preferred), willingness to develop industry-related knowledge in investment accounting.
