Accounting Associate | Pierre Landscape Construction

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Process and verify vendor invoices, payments, reimbursement requests, and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Payroll Management: Process weekly payroll for field employees by reviewing hours, transferring data, processing deductions, and distributing checks.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate vendor, payroll, and employee records in Sage and ExakTime, including W-9s, insurance certificates, and releases.
• Reporting & Reconciliation: Run monthly accounting reports such as aging reports and DVBE reports, and perform vendor statement reconciliations while researching discrepancies.
• Compliance & Month-End: Assist with Certified Payroll submissions, verify labor ratio compliance, and support various month-end close activities and reconciliations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-level. Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred but not required. Core domain knowledge in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting.
• Experience: 1-2 years in A/P, A/R, or accounting preferred.
• Skills: Strong organization and communication skills, comfortable with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Construction Payroll Experience, eagerness to learn new accounting software, and a proven track record of accuracy and follow-through.
