Financial Auditor Intern | KPMG

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at KPMG, located in Nice or Montpellier, France, with a hybrid work model. KPMG validates and certifies financial and extra-financial information for a wide variety of clients across different sizes and sectors. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of client information, directly contributing to maintaining client trust and the integrity of financial reporting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Validate: Contribute to validating and certifying financial and extra-financial information for a wide variety of clients.
• Participate: Actively participate in all key stages of the audit process within a specialized pole.
• Define & Execute: Participate in defining the audit approach, analyzing the entity’s control environment, and executing audit procedures.
• Interact: Engage directly with clients to build and foster trusted relationships.
• Support: Accompany various entities, including international companies, family-owned mid-sized businesses, SMEs, and non-profit organizations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school, or university.
• Experience: Academic and/or professional knowledge in audit, finance, or accounting, seeking an internship to start in January 2027 for 3 to 6 months.
• Skills: Demonstrated rigor, team spirit, curiosity, critical thinking, and a minimum B2 level of English proficiency.
• Bonus: An existing interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and its challenges.
