What You’ll Actually Do
• Lease Management: Review complex lease agreements and property contracts to accurately track recurring expenses, remittances, and detailed ownership information across the extensive portfolio of operating locations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate professionally and effectively with landlords to resolve account activity discrepancies, obtain necessary documentation, and address payment-related inquiries for the hundreds of properties.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Reconcile payments meticulously and maintain accurate, up-to-date general ledger records for a substantial portfolio encompassing 300–400 operating locations nationwide.
• Transaction Processing: Process accounts receivable and expense transactions efficiently to ensure accurate profit and loss reporting and support the overall financial integrity of the organization.
• Financial Support: Assist experienced accounting professionals with essential tasks such as journal entries, in-depth account analysis, financial comparisons, and comprehensive documentation review to support various financial reporting needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, suitable for an early career professional.
• Experience: No prior experience is strictly required, though 1+ year of accounting experience, including internships or relevant exposure, is preferred.
• Skills: Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUPs; demonstrated analytical and organizational abilities.
