GE Vernova Commercial Development Program – US 2027 | GE Vernova

The Tone:
This is a two-year commercial development program at GE Vernova, a company dedicated to electrifying the world and decarbonizing it through its energy solutions in Gas Power, Wind, Nuclear, and Grid Solutions. This program offers stimulating rotational assignments and rigorous training to develop commercial domain expertise. As a member, you will learn about GE Vernova’s markets, products, and customers, making significant contributions to the business and preparing for future commercial roles within a specialized business unit.

• Pay: $85000–$86000 yearly (plus potential geographic differential)
• Team: GE Vernova Commercial team, specializing in Gas Power, Wind, Nuclear, or Grid Solutions
• Mission: Connect customer needs with GE Vernova solutions by supporting market analysis, sales strategy, and business growth initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Engagement: Complete stimulating rotational assignments and a rigorous training curriculum to develop domain expertise in commercial teams.
• Strategy Support: Work closely with Commercial Teams to support the development of overall business growth strategy, including market analysis and identification of opportunities.
• Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales Managers to define sales strategy for targeted clients and develop a thorough understanding of core markets.
• Proposal Development: Partner with the Proposal team in the development and compilation of proposals to meet customers’ and sales team requirements.
• Risk Management: Manage and negotiate commercial and contractual risk within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process, presenting associated risk mitigation plans.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant science degree; candidates are entry-level with a cap of two years of work experience post-university graduation.
• Experience: Prior intern/co-op or relevant work experience, preferably in sales, sales support, or marketing within the energy industry.
• Skills: Strong demonstrated interest in the energy industry, spoken and written fluency in English, willingness to travel for business, and geographic flexibility for rotations.
• Bonus: Academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 cumulative overall GPA, demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills, strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and business acumen.
