Business Development Specialist (Loan Officer Training Program) | CMG Financial
The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at CMG Financial, requiring 3 days in-office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday, Friday). CMG Financial operates as a prominent mortgage lender, dedicated to helping individuals achieve homeownership. This position serves as a critical entry point into the mortgage industry, providing a structured training pathway to develop talent for future Licensed Loan Officer roles within the company’s Consumer Direct Team. The role is essential for expanding customer engagement and supporting the sales pipeline.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Conduct outbound calls to existing CMG customers, assessing their current needs and facilitating warm transfers to licensed Loan Officers for in-depth discussions.
• Lead Generation: Initiate outbound calls to diverse marketing leads, aiming to attract new customers to CMG and seamlessly connecting them with the team of Licensed Loan Officers.
• Marketing Support: Contribute to various marketing projects and initiatives, actively promoting CMG’s range of products and services to expand market reach.
• Professional Development: Participate in comprehensive sales training, gain exposure to mortgage operations and underwriter functions, collaborate with the existing team, and prepare for the SAFE Exam.
• Performance Progression: Work towards meeting defined goals to advance from the training program into a Licensed Loan Officer position within 8-12 months, with CMG covering licensing costs.
