What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: You will be directly responsible for the meticulous preparation of individual tax returns for an exclusive clientele of high net worth celebrity clients, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Tax Support: You will provide comprehensive assistance to managers and partners across a variety of tax functions, contributing to strategic planning and problem-solving for client accounts.
• Accounting Support: You will actively support both managers and partners with diverse accounting functions, which includes contributing to bookkeeping tasks and other financial record-keeping needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, forming the foundational knowledge required for this early career role in a professional services environment.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of solid tax experience gained within a CPA firm environment is essential, demonstrating practical application of tax principles and firm operational understanding.
• Skills: The ability to communicate very effectively, both verbally and in writing, is critical for client and internal interactions. You must also demonstrate strong multitasking capabilities and the capacity to manage long hours during peak tax season periods.
• Bonus: Prior accounting and bookkeeping experience, particularly with knowledge of QuickBooks, is a significant advantage. Proficiency with ProSystem’s FX software is also highly desirable for streamlined workflow and efficiency.
