Project Manager | Millennium

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Millennium, located in New York, New York. Millennium is a global, diversified alternative investment firm, founded in 1989, focused on delivering results for investors through evolution, innovation, and disciplined risk management. The Operations & Middle Office Projects team partners across departments to deliver strategic initiatives that strengthen operational workflows, controls, and scalability, supporting various financial products like Private Credit, Loans, and CLOs.

• Team: Operations & Middle Office Projects team; partners across Operations & Middle Office and Technology.
• Mission: Deliver strategic initiatives that strengthen operational workflows, controls, and scalability across a range of financial products and processes.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, project management tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the project pipeline between Operations & Middle Office and Technology, overseeing initiatives from initiation through implementation.
• Manage: Plan, coordinate, and supervise projects supporting Private Credit, Loans, CLOs, and related operational workflows.
• Collaborate: Partner with stakeholders across departments to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop: Develop detailed work plans, project documentation, and other artifacts needed to support effective execution.
• Report: Provide regular project and program reporting on status, key deliverables, milestones, risks, and mitigating actions, creating clear presentations for senior management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. Project management experience within a financial services or consulting environment, with strong knowledge of trading workflows, operations, technology, and financial products.
• Experience: 4–8 years of project management experience. Experience using project management tools and applying standard project management methodologies.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail and personal ownership of deliverables, and strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Bonus: A consistent record of achieving targets, building effective relationships, and motivating cross-functional teams through complex initiatives.
