AI Workforce Specialist – Federal Government and Law Enforcement | Microsoft

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Lead engagements with customers to identify their business needs and align appropriate Microsoft solutions.
• Account Development: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to drive the adoption and consumption of Microsoft technologies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with technical specialists, customer success managers, and partners to deliver measurable business value.
• Solution Demonstration: Demonstrate real examples of Copilot’s capabilities specifically tailored for government departments.
• Product Feedback: Provide insights and feedback to product teams to influence the future roadmap and enhance customer experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in technology-related sales or account management, with specific experience working with or selling to the Public Sector and/or Law Enforcement, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Skills: Strategic thinking, a deep understanding of the Canadian federal government with existing relationships across departments, deep technical knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies and Microsoft Copilot, and strong communication (presentation, negotiation, interpersonal) and sales acumen.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree (MBA, Information Technology, Information Security) with 6+ years, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years, experience in technology sales or account management; knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions and the competitive landscape; ability to travel as needed.
