Senior Product Owner – Portfolio and Proposition | Mashreq

This position is crucial for defining product strategy, optimizing profitability, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience through robust lifecycle management and innovative offerings. • Mission: Owns the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of deposit products and customer value propositions to drive growth and profitability for Mashreq Bank in Pakistan.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategize: Define and execute the comprehensive strategy for deposit products and propositions, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall objectives and market trends.
• Optimize: Monitor and manage deposit product profitability, pricing strategies, and interest/profit rate structures, while ensuring a seamless customer experience and addressing feedback.
• Enhance: Design, refine, and align customer value propositions (CVPs) for diverse customer segments through product bundling, benchmarking against competitors for differentiation and relevance.
• Grow: Drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value by launching segmental CVPs and executing data-driven lifecycle strategies, including loyalty and win-back campaigns.
• Deepen: Develop and implement cross-sell strategies using analytics and customer insights to encourage multi-product adoption and ensure a seamless digital experience for new product integration.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field, with a focus on senior-level product, portfolio, and lifecycle management.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in product, portfolio, and lifecycle management, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decisions.
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; in-depth knowledge of digital banking trends, technologies, and customer behaviors; knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices; ability to adapt with flexibility.
• Bonus: An MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree.
