Director, Field Marketing Programs and Activation | New York Life Insurance Company

The Tone:
This is a full-time leadership role at New York Life Insurance Company, located in a hybrid capacity (3 days per week in-office). This role is crucial for ensuring that financial professionals effectively utilize marketing programs and capabilities to expand their client base and improve client retention, directly impacting business growth and field success.

The TL;DR

• Mission: To increase the awareness, utilization, and business impact of marketing and prospecting programs for financial professionals across the full client acquisition and retention journey.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Activate Programs: Develop and execute strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of marketing and prospecting programs.
• Enable Sales: Create go-to-market and activation plans that help sales professionals understand the value of available programs and incorporate them into their businesses.
• Optimize Performance: Monitor adoption trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities, remove barriers, and improve outcomes.
• Improve Experience: Translate field feedback into actionable recommendations that improve programs and user experiences.
• Lead Team: Coach, mentor, and develop a team responsible for program activation and field engagement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A strategic and execution-oriented leader overseeing activation, adoption, engagement, and growth across the full Field Marketing value stream.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in marketing, sales enablement, program management, business strategy, or related functions, with 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills; proven ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex business problems, and drive results through cross-functional teams; strong project and portfolio management capabilities.
• Bonus: Experience working directly with sales professionals, advisors, agents, consultants, or other customer-facing business owners, combined with strong leadership experience in building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
