This is a temporary summer internship at Bank of America. What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecasting: Forecast financial and non-financial trends, develop models, and perform financial analysis of business investments.
• Financial Support: Support internal financial planning and management accounting functions.
• Presentations: Present financial data and analysis to business partners.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate opportunities for process improvements across the CFO Group.
• Networking: Network with finance executives and key stakeholders to cultivate meaningful relationships across various lines of business.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or accelerated (4+1) degree program, with a final graduation date between November 2027 and August 2028. This is an Entry-Level role focusing on core financial management and accounting principles.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, prior internships, or academic projects.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, basic financial and accounting knowledge (including understanding financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting), proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis), and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher. Common areas of study include Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Analytics, or Information Systems with a finance focus.
