Finance Summer Internship Job Description:

ParetoHealth’s Finance team plays a vital role in the company’s financial health, driving strategic decisions, optimizing operations, and providing insights for growth. The Finance Summer Intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, contributing to impactful projects and developing foundational finance skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cost management and efficiency initiatives.
• Conduct research and contribute to financial modeling projects for strategic planning.
• Assist in maintaining financial systems and tools, ensuring accurate data input and reporting.

Required Competencies:

Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and financial modeling.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate findings and collaborate effectively with team members.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Ability to work in the Philadelphia, PA office from June through August.
• Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior at an accredited college or university.
