What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting Collaboration: Engage proactively with diverse department heads to foster a comprehensive understanding of all ongoing financial reporting activities. This involves detailed review and verification processes to confirm the integrity and precision of data, ensuring that all financial information accurately reflects operational performance.
• Financial Statement Support: Provide integral assistance in the structured preparation and methodical distribution of core financial statements. This includes working alongside the team to compile, organize, and present financial data clearly for internal and external stakeholders, contributing to transparent communication.
• Monthly Close Procedure: Execute the preparation of essential financial statements, such as the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, alongside all required supporting schedules. This critical task adheres strictly to the established monthly close schedule, ensuring timely and consistent reporting for management and compliance purposes.
• Data Accuracy Management: Take ownership of ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of a variety of financial accounting data elements. This encompasses verification, reconciliation, and troubleshooting to maintain high data quality across ledgers, accounts, and financial records.
