Accounting and Technology Associate | BRG

What You’ll Actually Do
Analysis: Analyze financial statements, accounting records, operational data, and other business information to support diverse client engagements.
Calculations: Support damages analyses, business interruption calculations, valuation work, claim preparation, and investigative findings in complex financial and legal matters.
Modeling: Assist with reconstructing financial information, developing robust financial models, and identifying key trends or anomalies within business data.
Deliverables: Help prepare expert reports, trial demonstratives, presentations, exhibits, and other high-quality client deliverables for various legal and regulatory contexts.
Investigations & Compliance: Support client interviews, fraud investigations, compliance reviews, discovery efforts, internal controls assessments, and risk mitigation work.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-career candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics, or another related field, expecting to graduate between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027.
• Experience: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-service environment; emphasis on hands-on experience in data and business record analysis, potentially from academic projects or internships.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong quantitative, research, problem-solving, and written communication skills, coupled with intellectual curiosity and meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include a 3.6 GPA or higher; a willingness to consider pursuing CPA certification; experience with statistical, data analysis, or programming tools such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL, or similar platforms; and fluency with AI tools.
