Fall 2027 Accounting and Technology Associate | BRG
The Tone:
This is an early career role at BRG, a consulting firm specializing in complex financial, operational, accounting, technological, and business issues. BRG combines academic credentials with business expertise and emerging technologies to help clients analyze legal, regulatory, and investigative matters. This position contributes to work that shapes important legal and business outcomes by supporting expert teams throughout the dispute, investigation, and regulatory compliance processes.

• Mission: Support expert teams throughout the dispute, investigation, and regulatory compliance process by analyzing data and business records, developing financial models, and preparing client deliverables.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL, AI tools
What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Analyze financial statements, accounting records, operational data, and other business information for investigations and disputes.
• Support: Support damages analyses, business interruption calculations, valuation work, claim preparation, and investigative findings.
• Assist: Assist with reconstructing financial information, developing financial models, and identifying key trends or anomalies.
• Prepare: Prepare expert reports, trial demonstratives, presentations, exhibits, and other client deliverables.
• Contribute: Contribute to client interviews, fraud investigations, compliance reviews, discovery efforts, internal controls assessments, and risk mitigation work.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related subject, with an expected graduation date between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027.
• Experience: No specific years required; preference for experience with statistical, data analysis, or programming tools such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL or similar platforms.
• Skills: Strong quantitative, research, problem-solving, and written communication abilities; attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
• Bonus: Preferred 3.6 GPA or higher; willingness to consider becoming a CPA; preferred fluency with AI tools.
