What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Perform monthly closing procedures for all sales and materials data, meticulously preparing and presenting the results to management for review and strategic decision-making.
• Budget Analysis: Analyze comprehensive sales and materials data for six distinct annual budget events throughout the year, providing critical insights that inform future financial planning.
• Profit Analysis: Create detailed sales breakdowns and thorough profit analyses, collaborating with supervision to ensure accuracy and relevance for business understanding.
• Pricing Support: Prepare precise parts and unit pricing quotes, working under close guidance to support accurate and competitive sales proposals.
• Variance Analysis: Systematically analyze both material usage and sales price variances, identifying trends and discrepancies to optimize cost efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An entry-level professional holding a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Alternatively, candidates with an Associate’s degree coupled with a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience will be considered. A fundamental understanding of GAAP/IFRS and strong cost accounting principles is required for this role.
• Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in a related accounting field is required for those with an Associate’s degree. Demonstrated proficiency in key software tools including Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP is essential for daily tasks.
• Skills: Demonstrates strong analytical capabilities crucial for interpreting complex sales and materials data, along with effective problem-solving skills to address financial discrepancies and optimize cost structures. Excellent organizational skills are necessary for managing monthly closings and multiple budget events, complemented by clear presentation skills for communicating financial results and insights to management.
