This Accountant position is designed as a comprehensive development program, offering a clear career path towards becoming a Controller or VP of Finance within the organization. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and assist in managing financial records and reporting.
• Accounting Operations: Execute accounting procedures and principles, including preparing journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations.
• Audit & Compliance: Perform branch audit evaluations, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Month-End Close: Participate actively in a timely and accurate month-end closing process.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze income statement fluctuations and provide process improvement and cost-saving ideas.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Early Career.
• Experience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; must have a valid, unrestricted US driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Skills: Financial statement preparation, accounting procedures, financial analysis, bank reconciliation, account scheduling, journal entry preparation, and expense management.
• Bonus: Flexibility for career advancement could include relocation outside local area or state.
