The Tone:
This is an onsite role at CFS, located in Orlando, FL. CFS is a respected firm that has served clients nationwide for more than 40 years. This Accountant opportunity is designed for recent graduates and early-career accounting professionals looking to build a strong foundation within the firm. The company is known for developing talent, providing hands-on training, and giving junior professionals direct exposure to firm leadership. This role allows new professionals to contribute to real client engagements and develop practical accounting skills from day one.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $20–$22 hourly
• Mission: Develop practical accounting skills by contributing to client engagements in auditing, tax, and financial reporting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Auditing & Tax: Assist with financial audits, tax return preparation, and various client accounting projects.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Client Support: Support financial reporting, analysis, and client service initiatives.
• Data Management: Utilize Excel and accounting systems to analyze data and maintain accurate financial records.
• Project Participation: Partner with firm leadership and participate in client engagements and special projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field for an entry-level professional.
• Experience: Internship experience or 1+ year of accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong Excel skills, analytical abilities, and a desire to learn.
