• Mission: To perform and coordinate accounting responsibilities by ensuring accurate, complete, and timely compilation and recording of accounting information, analysis, and reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Oracle, HFM, LeaseAccelerator, Blackline

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Ensure accurate, complete, and timely compilation and recording of accounting information, analysis, and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies and procedures.
• Close Processes: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting closes for functional areas of responsibility, including related SOX compliance and the external financial statement audit.
• General Ledger Management: Accurately maintain general ledger accounts and respective reconciliations, including researching, understanding, and interpreting accounts and underlying activity, trends, and variances across various accounting functional areas.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and review journal entries in accordance with company policies.
• Financial Analysis: Support the preparation and distribution of monthly accounting, financial, and management reporting as well as ad hoc analyses.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Bonus: CPA certification (or in progress) or a master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or business; public accounting experience; experience with Oracle, HFM, LeaseAccelerator, and Blackline; intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot tables).
