Tax Manager – Reporting & Technology | Molson Coors Beverage Company

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Molson Coors, located in Milwaukee, WI, operating within a hybrid work model. Molson Coors is transforming the beverage industry with a portfolio of beer, seltzers, spirits, and non-alcohol brands. This position plays a key role in shaping how the company leverages technology to simplify complex tax processes, strengthen controls, and unlock new insights across the global tax function. The goal is to build a more scalable, insight-driven tax function by reducing manual processes and enabling the team to focus on higher-value, strategic activities.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Hybrid – Milwaukee, WI
• Pay: $109100–$143200 yearly
• Team: Reports to the Sr. Director Global Tax Reporting
• Mission: Own and lead the global tax technology strategy and roadmap to improve efficiency, scalability, and decision-making across the tax function.
• Tech Stack: Corptax, ONESOURCE, Power BI, Power Query, Databricks, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, SAP (preferred)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy & Oversight: Own and lead the global tax technology strategy, roadmap, and operating model, ensuring capabilities effectively support global tax needs and incorporating emerging technologies.
• Transformation & Automation: Drive enterprise-level tax transformation initiatives through automation, analytics, and AI, including hands-on use of AI-enabled tools and data platforms.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior stakeholders across Tax, Finance, IT, Enterprise Data, Internal Controls, and external vendors to align priorities and deliver sustainable technology solutions.
• Team Development & Controls: Lead adoption and change management by raising technology capabilities across the Tax team through training, and ensure a strong control environment by establishing disciplined data, process, and access governance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, with experience in corporate tax, tax technology, or tax process improvements.
• Experience: 6+ years of experience in corporate tax, tax technology, or tax process improvements within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm. Demonstrated experience with tax technology platforms such as Corptax or ONESOURCE, and leading technology, automation, or process improvement initiatives.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions and influence stakeholders. Experience with analytics and productivity applications like Power BI, Power Query, Databricks, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude.
• Bonus: In-depth knowledge of tax issues affecting global multinational businesses; administrator-level knowledge of Corptax or ONESOURCE; experience with ERP platforms such as SAP.
