The Tone:
This is a full-time role at HaFSBX, located in Maplewood, MN. At HaFSBX, we design and manufacture innovative material handling systems tailored to the unique needs of industries ranging from food processing to pharmaceuticals. Our Accounting team plays a critical role in supporting the business’s growth by ensuring financial accuracy, driving process improvements, and providing the insights that keep our operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Accounts Receivable: Oversee invoicing, apply payments, produce aging reports, and handle collections follow-up.
• Process Accounts Payable: Ensure accurate processing of invoices, verify proper coding and approvals, and prepare outgoing payments.
• Administer Company Credit Cards: Issue cards, review employee expenses, ensure policy compliance, and perform necessary reconciliations.
• Support Month-End Close: Assist with the monthly closing process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling various accounts.
• Drive Process Improvement: Identify and support initiatives to improve accounting processes and implement automation solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Early career professional with foundational knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience, specifically with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and account reconciliations.
• Skills: Proficient in Excel, comfortable with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks, or similar), strong attention to detail, organizational skills, good communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Experience with sales tax.
