Outbound BDR | Envoy

The Tone:
This is a hybrid position at Envoy, located in San Francisco, CA, requiring at least 4 days a week in the HQ. Envoy protects critical global spaces by providing a unified workplace management platform that integrates people, spaces, and communications securely. The platform is trusted by over 16,000 workplaces, including manufacturing sites, data centers, labs, healthcare facilities, and corporate headquarters, to manage visitors, assess risk, handle mail, digital signage, resource booking, and emergency situations. This Outbound BDR role is vital for generating new business pipeline for the sales organization and serves as a foundational step for future Account Executives within the company, offering a direct path for career acceleration.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Serve as the first point-of-contact for prospective Envoy customers across a range of industries, from small businesses to large organizations.
• Generate sales pipeline by delivering qualified discovery meetings for the Account Executive (AE) team, assessing fit and generating excitement/interest.
• Conduct account and contact research, manage a territory of accounts, conduct qualification, and broker introductions between AEs and prospective clients.
• Execute an Account-Based go-to-market motion, strategically working high-value accounts while balancing coverage through higher volume activity (e.g., >100 outbound calls via Nooks).
• Develop a strong knowledge of Envoy’s suite of products and a unique point-of-view on the workplace and visitor management market.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level career seeking to build foundational sales skills, with an interest in rapidly accelerating into an Account Executive role within the technology industry.
• Experience: Demonstrable ability to prospect into Mid-Market/Enterprise level accounts using tactics including phone calls and personalized emails. Experience working in a team environment.
• Skills: Excellent time management skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, superb written and spoken communication skills, and a keen sense of organization and autonomy. Proficiency with sales tools including Salesforce (SFDC), Outreach, and ZoomInfo.
