What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Prepare and submit essential accounting reports for various federal and state agencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Education: Acquire and apply knowledge of insurance-specific accounting principles, developing a foundational understanding of the industry’s financial standards.
• Automation: Contribute to the transition of manual accounting processes by assisting in the development and implementation of automated accounting systems.
• Analysis: Utilize computer-stored data to analyze financial information and effectively solve complex accounting problems.
• Insights: Generate and present comprehensive reports to management that can be directly used to inform and support strategic decision-making within the company.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience. This is an Entry-Level position suitable for individuals beginning their career in corporate accounting.
• Experience: Practical experience gained through academic studies or prior roles that provided exposure to accounting or finance functions, complementing the core domain knowledge from a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to organize complex data, efficiently multi-task across various responsibilities, make decisions independently, and possess above-average written and verbal communication skills; adeptness at resolving complex financial issues.
